L’argent ne suffit pas, pour nous rendre
heureux,
Il faut d’autres trésors, pour combler nos
vœux,
Si tu n’as soif que d’or, prépare tes
yeux,
Tu apprendras un jour, qu’on n'achète pas Dieu.
1. Où est ton trésor, là sera ton
cœur.
Tu peux te tromper de placement,
Ton avenir compte tout autant,
Prends donc le temps d’y songer une heure.
2. Le Christ est venu pour nous libérer,
L’attrait de l’argent, Il peut
l’ôter,
Il faut savoir que pour les nantis,
C’est compliqué d’être
démuni.
3. Amassez-vous des trésors au ciel,
C’est le grand conseil de l’Éternel.
Écoutez-le, il est essentiel,
C’est le destin le plus naturel.

Money is not enough to satisfy us,
We need other treasures to fill our desire,
If you only long for gold, so be prepared,
You will find out one day, that you cannot buy God.
1. Where your treasure is, there your heart will be.
You can put your wealth in the wrong place;
Your future worth much more than you think,
Then take some time to think over it.
2. The Lord Jesus Christ came to set us free,
From love of money, He can free us.
You should know friend, that it’s very hard
For a rich man to enter heaven.
3. Lay up for yourself treasures in heav’n,
This is what the Lord our God has said.
Follow His advice, it is good for you,
You’ll certainly face eternity.
