IS JESUS CHRIST GOD?

(Updated on 01 01 2024)

1- Introduction

Dear Brethren in Christ and dear friends, we are at the end times, and we are living the last days on earth before the return of Jesus Christ for the Rapture of His Bride. The Bible reveals to us that one of the significant signs of the end times is the apostasy, as we can read in 2Thessalonians 2:3 "Let not any one deceive you in any manner, because it will not be unless the apostasy have first come, and the man of sin have been revealed, the son of perdition."

Though we have witnessed the apostasy for many years now, with the formalization of ecumenism, we go deeper into the apostasy each day that passes by. The Church of Jesus Christ is going through one of the saddest moments in its history. There are too much chaos and confusion that we no longer know which way to turn. The apostasy has reached its peak. And when we know that apostasy is the official and voluntary abandonment of faith in Jesus Christ, we are tempted to ask ourselves how God can accuse millions of Christians of having renounced the faith in Jesus Christ, whereas these Christians give the impression of loving Jesus Christ, and of being very zealous.

Truly, God knows what He is talking about. He cannot dare to talk about apostasy when it is not the case. To all appearances, there are far more Christians in this world right now than in any other time in the history of humanity. Therefore, there are presently on earth, millions of so-called born again Christians, with hundreds of thousands of so-called servants of God, some bearing titles that have never existed.

Those so-called servants of God, who are none other than the agents of Hell that satan has sent specially to pollute the Church at these end times, have introduced in the Church all sorts of satanic doctrines, to the point where it becomes very difficult for people who truly want to be saved, to differentiate between the Doctrine of Christ and the doctrines of lucifer that have flooded the religious milieus today.

Many Christians, victims of the venom of these agents of Hell wrongly called servants of God, spend their time today defending the false doctrine, with great conviction, to the great delight of satan, the enemy of their souls. They are so zealous when they defend the heresies that one wonders whether there is any hope for them.

It has reached the point where one no longer knows who Jesus Christ is. The confusion has reached the level where we are compelled to get involved in incredible discussions and debates, even to open discussions around the divinity of Christ. Even the simple basic teachings, which should under no circumstances be opened to any discussion, and whose understanding should pose no problem for any true child of God, have become major topics of debates.

Even if the debate around the divinity of Christ seems to be a pure distraction for true Children of God, we are compelled despite ourselves to get involved in this debate in order to win the few who would honestly be caught into the trap of the agents of Hell. Know that the demons in the flesh, to succeed in distracting you, to succeed in contradicting you, and to succeed in embarrassing you, are forced to deny the Authority of the Bible. No person who recognizes the Authority of the Bible will succeed in contradicting you, as long as you teach the Bible.

Therefore, to avoid falling into the trap of the sons of perdition, you must first of all agree on the following seven (7) prerequisites, before getting involved in any Bible study with people, before opening any discussion or any debate around the Bible:

1- Agree on the fact that the Bible is the Word of God.

2- Agree on the fact that the Bible alone is the Word of God, which means that no other book, no other document, no other manuscript, or even a comment in the Bible, represents the Word of God.

3- Agree on the fact that God is the sole author of the Bible, that is, in the Bible, there is no word of Peter, or of John, or of Paul, etc.

4- Agree on the fact that the whole Bible speaks to us, that is, there is no message in the Bible to the Corinthians, or to the Ephesians, etc.

5- Agree on the fact that the true Bible left at our disposal by God, contains 66 books. These 66 books must have the names of the books of the Holy Bible that we know, and be listed in the normal order of books as presented in the Holy Bible.

6- Agree on the fact that the Bible is true.

7- Agree on the fact that what is not written, does not concern us.

These seven (7) prerequisites must absolutely be respected if you want to have a Bible study or share something from the Bible, which honours God. Under no circumstances should you open any biblical debate with people who deny the Authority of the Bible. You should not discuss the Bible with demons who have denied the Holy Bible and have made their own bible either. Doing this would be disobeying God; it would be falling into the trap of what the Bible calls "... useless wranglings of men of corrupt minds and destitute of the truth ..." 1Timothy 6:5.

You must learn not to do go beyond what is written, as the Lord commands us in this passage from 1Corinthians 4:6 "Now, brothers, I have applied these things to myself ... so that you may learn ... not to go beyond what is written..." Learn to remain in the Bible, the whole Bible, and nothing but the Bible!

Since we have chosen to believe that among those who deny the divinity of Christ or who doubt it, there are a few ignorant, that is, some sincere people, we will go through the Bible together to help them understand. We will just take you through the Bible, with the least possible comments, and you will see that with the Bible, there is really no effort to make to convince whosoever that Jesus Christ is God.

2- Direct demonstration of the divinity of Jesus Christ

2.1- Jesus Christ is God the Creator

Genesis 1:1 "In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth." Let's associate this verse with the following verses: John 1:1-3 "In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2 He was with God in the beginning. 3 Through him all things were made; without him nothing was made that has been made." John 1:14 "The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us. We have seen his glory, the glory of the One and Only, who came from the Father, full of grace and truth."

First Conclusion: Verse 1 "The Word was God", verse 14 "The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us. We have seen his glory, the glory of the One and Only, who came from the Father, full of grace and truth." And we all know that the One and Only, who came from the Father, is Jesus Christ.

Second Conclusion: Since in the beginning, it is God who created the heavens and the earth, Genesis 1:1, and that John 1:1 reminds us that in the beginning was the Word, and that the Word was God, and John 1:14 tells us that the Word became flesh, and that this Word that became flesh is the only Begotten of the Father, it naturally emerges from this that the God creator of Genesis 1:1 is Jesus Christ.

Colossians 1:16 "For by Him all things were created: Things in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or powers or rulers or authorities; all things were created by Him and for Him." Hebrews 1:10 "He also says: In the beginning, O Lord, You laid the foundations of the earth, and the heavens are the work of your hands."

Psalm 33:6 "By the word of the Lord the heavens were made, their starry host by the breath of his mouth." Isaiah 42:5 "This is what God the Lord says - He who created the heavens and stretched them out, who spread out the earth and all that comes out of it, who gives breath to its people, and life to those who walk on it."

Isaiah 45:18 "For this is what the Lord says - He who created the heavens, He is God; He who fashioned and made the earth, He founded it; He did not create it to be empty, but formed it to be inhabited - He says: I am the Lord, and there is no other."

The passages above confirm that Jesus Christ is truly God the Creator. Jesus Christ is the Creator of the heavens, the only God, as Isaiah 45:18 attests.

2.2- Jesus Christ declared God by God the Father

Hebrews 1:1-10 "In the past God spoke to our forefathers through the prophets at many times and in various ways, 2but in these last days He has spoken to us by His Son, whom He appointed heir of all things, and through whom He made the universe. 3The Son is the radiance of God's glory and the exact representation of His being, sustaining all things by his powerful word. After He had provided purification for sins, He sat down at the right hand of the Majesty in heaven. 4So He became as much superior to the angels as the name He has inherited is superior to theirs. 5For to which of the angels did God ever say, "You are my Son; today I have become Your Father"? Or again, "I will be His Father, and He will be my Son"? 6And again, when God brings His firstborn into the world, He says, "Let all God's angels worship Him." 7In speaking of the angels He says, "He makes his angels winds, his servants flames of fire." 8But about the Son He says, "Your throne, O God, will last for ever and ever, and righteousness will be the sceptre of Your kingdom. 9You have loved righteousness and hated wickedness; therefore God, your God, has set You above Your companions by anointing You with the oil of joy." 10He also says, "In the beginning, O Lord, you laid the foundations of the earth, and the heavens are the work of your hands."

Psalm 45:6-7 "Your throne, O God, will last for ever and ever; a scepter of justice will be the scepter of Your kingdom. 7You love righteousness and hate wickedness; therefore God, your God, has set you above your companions by anointing you with the oil of joy."

The fact that the Father calls Jesus Christ God, attests that Jesus is truly God.

2.3- Jesus Christ proclaims Himself God

John 10:30-36 "I and the Father are one." 31Again the Jews picked up stones to stone Him, 32but Jesus said to them, "I have shown you many great miracles from the Father. For which of these do you stone Me?" 33"We are not stoning You for any of these," replied the Jews, "but for blasphemy, because You, a mere man, claim to be God." 34Jesus answered them, "Is it not written in your Law, 'I have said you are gods'? 35If he called them 'gods,' to whom the word of God came - and the Scripture cannot be broken - 36what about the one whom the Father set apart as his very own and sent into the world? Why then do you accuse me of blasphemy because I said, 'I am God's Son'?"

Verse 33 allows us to understand that Jesus acknowledged His divine identity, that is, His divinity. He did not deny the accusations of the Jews. By saying in verse 30, that He and the Father are One, He is saying that He is of the same nature as the Father, that is, God.

2.4- Jesus Christ the God I Am

John 8:58 "I tell you the truth," Jesus answered, "before Abraham was born, I am!" Exodus 3:14 "God said to Moses, I am who I am. This is what you are to say to the Israelites: I am has sent me to you."

These passages help us to understand that the God of Moses is simply Jesus Christ.

2.5- Jesus Christ accepts His divinity

John 20:26-28 "A week later His disciples were in the house again, and Thomas was with them. Though the doors were locked, Jesus came and stood among them and said, "Peace be with you!" 27Then He said to Thomas, "Put your finger here; see my hands. Reach out your hand and put it into my side. Stop doubting and believe." 28Thomas said to Him, "My Lord and my God!"

Note that the Lord Jesus did not rebuke Thomas for what would have constituted a blasphemy, if He were not truly God. Jesus is therefore God.

2.6- Jesus Christ the God who bought the Church with His own blood

Acts 20:28 "Keep watch over yourselves and all the flock of which the Holy Spirit has made you overseers. Be shepherds of the Church of God, which He bought with His own blood." Ephesians 5:23 "For the husband is the head of the wife as Christ is the head of the Church, His body, of which He is the Saviour."

Revelation 1:4-5 "John, to the seven Churches in the province of Asia: Grace and peace to you from him who is, and who was, and who is to come, and from the seven spirits before his throne, 5 and from Jesus Christ, who is the faithful witness, the firstborn from the dead, and the ruler of the kings of the earth. To him who loves us and has freed us from our sins by His blood."

These passages reveal to us that Jesus Christ is the God who bought the Church with His own blood. Jesus is therefore God!

2.7- Jesus Christ God and Saviour

2Peter 1:1 "... To those who through the righteousness of our God and Saviour Jesus Christ." Titus 1:1-3 "Paul, a servant of God and an apostle of Jesus Christ for the faith of God's elect ... by the command of God our Saviour, ..." Titus 2:11-13 "... while we wait for the blessed hope - the glorious appearing of our great God and Saviour, Jesus Christ." Jesus is therefore God!

2.8- Jesus Christ is the true God

1John 5:20 "We know also that the Son of God has come and has given us understanding, so that we may know Him who is true. And we are in Him who is true - even in His Son Jesus Christ. He is the true God and eternal life." Jesus is therefore God!

2.9- Jesus Christ equal with God

Philippians 2:5-6; 9-11 "Your attitude should be the same as that of Christ Jesus: 6Who, being in very nature God, did not consider equality with God something to be grasped, ... 9Therefore God exalted Him to the highest place and gave Him the name that is above every name, 10that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, 11 and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father."

John 14:7-9 "If you really knew me, you would know my Father as well. From now on, you do know Him and have seen Him." 8Philip said, "Lord, show us the Father and that will be enough for us." 9Jesus answered: "Don't you know me, Philip, even after I have been among you such a long time? Anyone who has seen Me has seen the Father. How can you say, 'Show us the Father'?" Jesus is therefore God!

2.10- Jesus Christ is called Lord

Ephesians 4:5 "One Lord, one faith, one baptism." Revelation 22:20 "He who testifies to these things says, "Yes, I am coming soon." Amen. Come, Lord Jesus." John 20:28 "Thomas said to him, "My Lord and my God!" Galatians 3:20 A mediator, however, does not represent just one party; but God is one. Revelation 1:8 "I am the Alpha and the Omega," says the Lord God, "who is, and who was, and who is to come, the Almighty."

Revelation 4:8; 10-11 "Each of the four living creatures had six wings ... Day and night they never stop saying: "'Holy, holy, holy is the Lord God Almighty,' who was, and is, and is to come." ... 10 the twenty-four elders fall down before Him who sits on the throne and worship Him who lives for ever and ever. They lay their crowns before the throne and say: 11 "You are worthy, our Lord and God, to receive glory and honour and power, for You created all things, and by Your will they were created and have their being."

Revelation 11:17 "Saying: We give thanks to You, Lord God Almighty, the One who is and who was, because you have taken your great power and have begun to reign."

Revelation 15:3 "And sang the song of God’s servant Moses and of the Lamb: Great and marvellous are your deeds, Lord God Almighty. Just and true are your ways, King of the nations."

Revelation 17:14 "They will wage war against the Lamb, but the Lamb will triumph over them because He is Lord of lords and King of kings..." Revelation 19:6 "Then I heard what sounded like a great multitude, like the roar of rushing waters and like loud peals of thunder, shouting: “Hallelujah! For our Lord God Almighty reigns."

Revelation 22:5-6 "There will be no more night. They will not need the light of a lamp or the light of the sun, for the Lord God will give them light. And they will reign for ever and ever. 6 The angel said to me, "These words are trustworthy and true. The Lord, the God who inspires the prophets, sent His angel to show His servants the things that must soon take place."

Revelation 1:1 The revelation from Jesus Christ, which God gave Him to show His servants what must soon take place. He made it known by sending His angel to His servant John,

Isaiah 40:3 "A voice of one calling: "In the desert prepare the way for the Lord; make straight in the wilderness a highway for our God. We have this prophecy and its fulfilment is found in Matthew 3:3 "This is he (John) who was spoken of through the prophet Isaiah: "A voice of one calling in the desert, 'Prepare the way for the Lord, make straight paths for Him.'" It is said that the voice of one calling in the desert was that of John the Baptist. Now, for whom did John the Baptist prepare the way? For Jesus Christ. Jesus Christ is God!

2.11- Jesus Christ is the image of the invisible God

Colossians 1:12-13; 15-19 "Giving thanks to the Father, who has qualified you to share in the inheritance of the saints in the kingdom of light. 13For He has rescued us from the dominion of darkness and brought us into the kingdom of the Son He loves, ... 15He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation. 16For by Him all things were created: things in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or powers or rulers or authorities; all things were created by Him and for Him. 17He is before all things, and in Him all things hold together. 18And He is the head of the body, the Church; He is the beginning and the firstborn from among the dead, so that in everything He might have the supremacy. 19For God was pleased to have all His fullness dwell in Him."

2Corinthians 4:4 "The god of this age has blinded the minds of unbelievers, so that they cannot see the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God." Jesus Christ is therefore God!

2.12- In Jesus Christ all the fullness of the Deity lives in bodily form

Colossians 2:6-9 "So then, just as you received Christ Jesus as Lord, continue to live in Him, 7 rooted and built up in Him, strengthened in the faith as you were taught, and overflowing with thankfulness. 8See to it that no one takes you captive through hollow and deceptive philosophy, which depends on human tradition and the basic principles of this world rather than on Christ. 9For in Christ all the fullness of the Deity lives in bodily form." Jesus Christ is God!

2.13- Jesus Christ is the Lord of lords

Revelation 17:14 "They will wage war against the Lamb, but the Lamb will triumph over them because He is Lord of lords and King of kings ..." Revelation 19:16 "On His robe and on His thigh He has this name written: King of kings and Lord of lords."

1Timothy 6:13-15 "... I charge you 14to keep this command without spot or blame until the appearing of our Lord Jesus Christ, 15which God will bring about in His own time - God, the blessed and only Ruler, the King of kings and Lord of lords."

Deuteronomy 10:17 "For the Lord your God is God of gods and Lord of lords, the great God, mighty and awesome, ..." Psalms 136:3 "Give thanks to the Lord of lords: His love endures forever." Jesus Christ is the Lord of lords, He is therefore God!

3- Indirect demonstration of the divinity of Jesus Christ

3.1- Jesus Christ is God with us

Isaiah 7:14 "Therefore the Lord Himself will give you a sign: The virgin will be with child and will give birth to a son, and will call him Immanuel." Matthew 1:21-23 "She will give birth to a son, and you are to give him the name Jesus, because He will save His people from their sins. 22All this took place to fulfil what the Lord had said through the prophet: 23"The virgin will be with child and will give birth to a son, and they will call Him Immanuel" - which means, "God with us." Jesus Christ is therefore God!

3.2- Jesus Christ is Mighty God, Everlasting Father

Isaiah 9:6 "For to us a child is born, to us a son is given, and the government will be on his shoulders. And he will be called Wonderful, Counsellor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace."

We see the fulfilment of this prophecy in Luke 2:11 "Today in the town of David a Saviour has been born to you; He is Christ the Lord." Jesus Christ is God!

3.3- Jesus Christ is God whose origins are from ancient times

Micah 5:2 "But you, Bethlehem Ephrathah, though you are small among the clans of Judah, out of you will come for me one who will be ruler over Israel, whose origins are from of old, from ancient times." We see the fulfilment of this prophecy in Matthew 2:1-6 "After Jesus was born in Bethlehem in Judea, during the time of King Herod, Magi from the east came to Jerusalem 2and asked, "Where is the one who has been born king of the Jews? We saw his star in the east and have come to worship Him." 3When King Herod heard this he was disturbed, ... he asked them where the Christ was to be born. 5"In Bethlehem in Judea," they replied, "for this is what the prophet has written: 6"'But you, Bethlehem, in the land of Judah, are by no means least among the rulers of Judah; for out of you will come a ruler who will be the shepherd of my people Israel.'" Therefore, the origins of Jesus Christ are from of old, from ancient times. Jesus Christ is God!

3.4- Jesus Christ is the First and the Last

Isaiah 41:4 Who has done this and carried it through, calling forth the generations from the beginning? I, the Lord - with the first of them and with the last - I am He." Isaiah 43:10 "You are my witnesses," declares the Lord, "and my servant whom I have chosen, so that you may know and believe me and understand that I am He. Before Me no God was formed, nor will there be one after Me."

Isaiah 44: 6 "This is what the Lord says - Israel's King and Redeemer, the Lord Almighty: I am the first and I am the last; apart from me there is no God." Isaiah 48:12 "Listen to me, O Jacob, Israel, whom I have called: I am He; I am the first and I am the last."

By linking the verses above to those below, we understand better.

Revelation 1:1-17 "The revelation from Jesus Christ, which God gave Him to show His servants what must soon take place. He made it known by sending his angel to his servant John, ... 5and from Jesus Christ, who is the faithful witness, the firstborn from the dead, and the ruler of the kings of the earth. To Him who loves us and has freed us from our sins by His blood, ... 8"I am the Alpha and the Omega," says the Lord God, "who is, and who was, and who is to come, the Almighty." ... 17When I saw him, I fell at his feet as though dead. Then he placed his right hand on me and said: Do not be afraid. I am the First and the Last."

Revelation 21:6 "He said to me: It is done. I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End..." Revelation 22:13 I am the Alpha and the Omega, the First and the Last, the Beginning and the End. Jesus Christ Himself declares that He is the First and the Last, as He did in Isaiah 44:6. Jesus Christ is the Lord, He is therefore God.

3.5- Jesus Christ, the God who searches hearts and minds

Jeremiah 17:10 "I the Lord search the heart and examine the mind, to reward a man according to his conduct, according to what his deeds deserve."

Revelation 2:18-23 "To the angel of the Church in Thyatira write: These are the words of the Son of God, whose eyes are like blazing fire and whose feet are like burnished bronze. ... 23I will strike her children dead. Then all the Churches will know that I am He who searches hearts and minds, and I will repay each of you according to your deeds." We see that Jesus Christ is He who searches hearts and minds. He is therefore God.

3.6- Jesus Christ, the God who justifies

Romans 3:30 "Since there is only one God, who will justify the circumcised by faith and the uncircumcised through that same faith." Romans 8:33 "Who will bring any charge against those whom God has chosen? It is God who justifies." Acts 13:37-39 "But the One whom God raised from the dead did not see decay. ... 39Through Him everyone who believes is justified from everything you could not be justified from by the law of Moses."

Romans 5:8-9 "But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us. 9Since we have now been justified by His blood, how much more shall we be saved from God's wrath through him!"

1Corinthians 6:11 "And that is what some of you were. But you were washed, you were sanctified, you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and by the Spirit of our God."

Galatians 2:16-17 "Know that a man is not justified by observing the law, but by faith in Jesus Christ. So we, too, have put our faith in Christ Jesus that we may be justified by faith in Christ and not by observing the law, because by observing the law no one will be justified. 17"If, while we seek to be justified in Christ, it becomes evident that we ourselves are sinners, does that mean that Christ promotes sin? Absolutely not!"

Titus 3:5-7 He saved us, not because of righteous things we had done, but because of His mercy. He saved us through the washing of rebirth and renewal by the Holy Spirit, 6whom He poured out on us generously through Jesus Christ our Saviour, 7so that, having been justified by His grace, we might become heirs having the hope of eternal life."

These passages prove that it is Jesus Christ who justifies. Jesus Christ is therefore God.

3.7- Jesus Christ, the God who is from the beginning

Proverbs 8:22-36 "The Lord brought Me forth as the first of His works, before His deeds of old; 23I was appointed from eternity, from the beginning, before the world began. 24When there were no oceans, I was given birth, when there were no springs abounding with water; 25before the mountains were settled in place, before the hills, I was given birth, 26 before He made the earth or its fields or any of the dust of the world. 27 I was there when He set the heavens in place, when He marked out the horizon on the face of the deep, 28 when He established the clouds above and fixed securely the fountains of the deep, 29when He gave the sea its boundary so the waters would not overstep his command, and when He marked out the foundations of the earth. 30Then I was the craftsman at His side. I was filled with delight day after day, rejoicing always in His presence.

We understand better when we link the verses above to these ones: Colossians 1:18-19 "... He is the beginning and the firstborn from among the dead, so that in everything He might have the supremacy. 19For God was pleased to have all His fullness dwell in Him." John 1:1-3 "In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2He was with God in the beginning. 3Through him all things were made; without him nothing was made that has been made."

These passages allow us to understand that it is all about the eternal Son of God, that is Jesus Christ. Jesus Christ is therefore God.

3.8- Jesus Christ, the only God worthy to be worshipped

Matthew 4:8-10 "Again, the devil took him to a very high mountain and showed him all the kingdoms of the world and their splendour. 9"All this I will give you," he said, "if you will bow down and worship me." 10Jesus said to him, "Away from me, satan! For it is written: 'Worship the Lord your God, and serve Him only.'"

Luke 4:8 "Jesus answered, "It is written: 'Worship the Lord your God and serve Him only.'" Revelation 19:9-10 "Then the angel said to me, "Write this: Blessed are those who are invited to the wedding supper of the Lamb!" And he added, "These are the true words of God." 10At this I fell at his feet to worship him. But he said to me, "Don’t do that! I am a fellow servant with you and with your brothers and sisters who hold to the testimony of Jesus. Worship God..."

Revelation 22:8-9 "I, John, am the one who heard and saw these things. And when I had heard and seen them, I fell down to worship at the feet of the angel who had been showing them to me. 9But he said to me, "Don’t do that! I am a fellow servant with you and with your fellow prophets and with all who keep the words of this scroll. Worship God!" The angel says to worship only God and several times in the Bible Jesus is worshipped. Let us read these passages:

Matthew 28:9 "Suddenly Jesus met them. Greetings, He said. They came to him, clasped his feet and worshiped him." Luke 24:51-52 "While he was blessing them, he left them and was taken up into heaven. 52Then they worshiped Him and returned to Jerusalem with great joy."

Jesus has never prevented anyone from worshipping Him. If Jesus were not God, He would have told His disciples not to worship Him, just as the angel did in Revelation. These other passages allow us to understand that only God is to be worshipped.

Matthew 2:1-2 "After Jesus was born in Bethlehem in Judea, during the time of King Herod, Magi from the east came to Jerusalem 2and asked, "Where is the one who has been born king of the Jews? We saw his star in the east and have come to worship Him." Matthew 2:11 "On coming to the house, they saw the child with his mother Mary, and they bowed down and worshiped him. Then they opened their treasures and presented him with gifts of gold and of incense and of myrrh."

John 9:35-38 "Jesus heard that they had thrown him out, and when he found him, he said, "Do you believe in the Son of Man?" 36"Who is he, sir?" the man asked. "Tell me so that I may believe in him." 37Jesus said, "You have now seen him; in fact, he is the one speaking with you." 38Then the man said, "Lord, I believe," and he worshiped Him. Hebrews 1:6 "And again, when God brings His firstborn into the world, he says: Let all God's angels worship Him."

Revelation 4:10-11 "The twenty-four elders fall down before him who sits on the throne and worship Him who lives for ever and ever. They lay their crowns before the throne and say: 11"You are worthy, our Lord and God, to receive glory and honour and power, for you created all things, and by your will they were created and have their being."

Revelation 5:8 "And when he had taken it, the four living creatures and the twenty-four elders fell down before the Lamb. Each one had a harp and they were holding golden bowls full of incense, which are the prayers of God’s people..."

Revelation 5:12-14 In a loud voice they were saying: Worthy is the Lamb, who was slain, to receive power and wealth and wisdom and strength and honour and glory and praise!" 13Then I heard every creature in heaven and on earth and under the earth and on the sea, and all that is in them, saying: To him who sits on the throne and to the Lamb be praise and honour and glory and power, for ever and ever! 14The four living creatures said, "Amen," and the elders fell down and worshiped." Jesus Christ is God!

3.9- We only pray to God

Matthew 7:21-22 "Not everyone who says to me, 'Lord, Lord,' will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only he who does the will of my Father who is in heaven. 22Many will say to me on that day, 'Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name, and in your name drive out demons and perform many miracles?'" Acts 7:59 "While they were stoning him, Stephen prayed, Lord Jesus, receive my spirit." 2Corinthians 12:8 "Three times I pleaded with the Lord to take it away from me..." Revelation 22:20 "... Amen! Come, Lord Jesus!" If Jesus Christ were not God, we would not be praying to Him.

3.10- Jesus Christ is the light

2Samuel 22:29 "You are my lamp, O Lord; the Lord turns my darkness into light." Psalms 27:1 "The Lord is my light and my salvation - whom shall I fear?..."

Isaiah 60:19-20 "The sun will no more be your light by day, nor will the brightness of the moon shine on you, for the Lord will be your everlasting light, and your God will be your glory. 20 Your sun will never set again, and your moon will wane no more; the Lord will be your everlasting light, and your days of sorrow will end."

John 1:4-9 "In him was life, and that life was the light of men. ... 9The true light that gives light to every man was coming into the world." John 8:12 "When Jesus spoke again to the people, he said: I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life."

3.11- Jesus Christ is the shepherd

Ezekiel 34:15 "I myself will tend my sheep and have them lie down, declares the Sovereign Lord." Ezekiel 34:31 "You my sheep, the sheep of my pasture, are people, and I am your God, declares the Sovereign Lord." John 10:11 "I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd lays down his life for the sheep." Isaiah 40:9-11 "You who bring good tidings to Zion, go up on a high mountain. You who bring good tidings to Jerusalem, lift up your voice with a shout, lift it up, do not be afraid; say to the towns of Judah, "Here is your God!" ... 11He tends His flock like a shepherd. ..."

3.12- Jesus Christ forgives sins

Luke 5:20-24 "When Jesus saw their faith, he said, "Friend, your sins are forgiven." 21The Pharisees and the teachers of the law began thinking to themselves, "Who is this fellow who speaks blasphemy? Who can forgive sins but God alone?" 22Jesus knew what they were thinking and asked, "Why are you thinking these things in your hearts? 23Which is easier: to say, 'Your sins are forgiven,' or to say, 'Get up and walk'? 24But that you may know that the Son of Man has authority on earth to forgive sins..."

3.13- Jesus Christ is the Lord

Isaiah 43:10-12 "You are my witnesses, declares the Lord... Before me no god was formed, nor will there be one after me. I, even I, am the Lord, and apart from me there is no saviour. ... You are my witnesses, declares the Lord, that I am God." Jesus says to His disciples in Acts 1:18 "... you will be my witnesses..." Jesus Christ is the Lord, He is therefore God.

3.14- Jesus Christ is the Rock

Psalm 18:31 says: "For who is God besides the LORD? And who is the Rock except our God?" The Bible clearly tells us in 1Corinthians 10:4 that the Rock is Christ. Therefore Jesus Christ is God.

3.15- Jesus Christ is the living God

1Timothy 4:10 says: "And for this we labour and strive, that we have put our hope in the living God, who is the Saviour of all men, and especially of those who believe." We know that the Saviour is Christ as confirmed by Luke 2:11 "Today in the town of David a Saviour has been born to you; he is Christ the Lord." And here, He is called the living God. The Bible does not just declare that Jesus Christ is God, but it also demonstrates it.

To sum up, retain dear brethren and dear friends, that going through the Bible in search of verses to prove that Jesus Christ is God, is choosing to plunge into a fish pool full of fish in order to prove therein the existence of fish. The Bible from Genesis to Revelation speaks of Jesus, and proves that Jesus Christ is God. Each book of the Bible testifies that Jesus Christ is God. This only passage of Luke 24:25-44 cited below helps us to understand unambiguously that the Old Testament only spoke of Jesus.

Luke 24:25-44 "He said to them: How foolish you are, and how slow of heart to believe all that the prophets have spoken! ... 44He said to them: This is what I told you while I was still with you: Everything must be fulfilled that is written about me in the Law of Moses, the Prophets and the Psalms."

Note this well: Those who crucified Jesus Christ were those who were unwilling to accept His divinity. All those who continue today to deny the divinity of Christ, are still crucifying Him, again and again.

4- Was this study really necessary?

The answer is obviously No. This is because there are things that should not be taught to true Children of God. There are things that the true Children of God should understand naturally and simply. In connection with that, someone once exclaimed: "How is it that the divinity of Christ becomes a problem even in the midst of so-called Christians? Yet this topic is so clear in the Bible."

As you have just noticed, every part of the Bible proves that Jesus Christ is God, and each book of the Bible proves that Jesus Christ is God. Going as far as making efforts to prove to Children of God that Jesus Christ their Master, their Lord, their Saviour, their Redeemer, their Shepherd, their Guide, their Shield, their God ... is God, is simply absurd. Because if Jesus Christ was not God, what would become of the Children of God?

Imagine for a single moment that Jesus Christ is not God, and try to understand the consequences. Let me explain to you the meaning of this satanic doctrine that says that Jesus Christ is not God. This doctrine is simply trying to teach the whole world that God has never existed, that the Bible is false, and that all those who died from early generations for God or for Jesus Christ, all died in vain. That is what this satanic doctrine means.

I will get into a series of drills to help you better understand the seriousness of this satanic doctrine according to which Jesus Christ may not be God. This abomination is actually one of the greatest blasphemies that exist.

If Jesus Christ is not God, it means that all those who believe in Him for their salvation are all lost, because they would just be believing in a fictitious saviour, in an imaginary saviour, in a saviour that in reality does not exist.

If Jesus Christ is not God, it means that those who worship Him are all idolaters, for worshiping a god other than God the Creator, is an idolatry. Idolatry is a sin that leads straight to Hell. Those who follow Jesus Christ will all go to Hell, according to this doctrine of demons.

If Jesus Christ is not God, it means that the whole Bible is false, since it teaches, from the Old to the New Testament, that Jesus Christ is God.

If Jesus Christ is not God, it means that God is a liar, He who said that Jesus Christ His only Son is God.

For you, so-called Christians who support this doctrine of lucifer, and who hold that Jesus Christ is not God, you have now understood very well the gravity of the sin you were committing. You should repent immediately if you are of God, or persist in your opinion, if you are demons.

We, Children of God, say that we have given our lives to Jesus. If Jesus Christ is not God, it means that we have given our lives, either to a man, or to an object, or to a monster.

We, Children of God, say that we have been saved by Jesus. If Jesus Christ is not God, it means that we are therefore not saved, since it is only God who can save. No man can save another.

We, Children of God, say that Jesus Christ lives in us. If Jesus Christ is not God, it means that we are all possessed. It means that either a man, or a monster or the spirit of a dead person dwells in us.

We, Children of God, say that Jesus Christ is coming very soon to take us away. If Jesus Christ is not God, there will be no rapture. Because a mere man cannot have the power and sufficient might to take us away.

I take this opportunity to give you a very important element of discernment. Those who say that Jesus Christ is not God can be classified into two groups: People who are possessed and demons in the flesh. You will therefore never, I mean never, see a true child of God, maintaining that Jesus Christ is not God. You will never see any.

This kind of blasphemy can only come from a demon. Either he who says this is possessed by a demon that uses him to blaspheme, or he himself is a demon. What you need to do to discern is to simply give him this teaching to read. If he is not a demon, he will repent after reading the teaching. And if he is a demon, he will not repent. Demons are people who have sold their soul to lucifer. They have chosen Hell, and you cannot do anything against that. This is what the Bible teaches us:

John 6:36 "But as I told you, you have seen me and still you do not believe." When demons do not believe, it is not because they have any doubt, or because they are not convinced. It is because they choose not to believe. John 6:37 "All that the Father gives me will come to me ..." John 8:37 "I know you are Abraham's descendants. Yet you are ready to kill me, because you have no room for my word."

John 8:41 "You are doing the things your own father does." "We are not illegitimate children," they protested. "The only Father we have is God himself." These demons always claim to have God as father, they always pretend to be serving God, as we do. John 8:42-44 "If God were your Father, you would love me, for I came from God and now am here. I have not come on my own; but he sent me. 43 Why is my language not clear to you? Because you are unable to hear what I say. 44 You belong to your father, the devil ..."

John 8:47 "He who belongs to God hears what God says. The reason you do not hear is that you do not belong to God." John 10:26-27 "But you do not believe because you are not my sheep. 27My sheep listen to my voice; I know them, and they follow me." 1John 4:5-6 "They are from the world and therefore speak from the viewpoint of the world, and the world listens to them. 6We are from God, and whoever knows God listens to us; but whoever is not from God does not listen to us. This is how we recognize the Spirit of truth and the spirit of falsehood."

Why do some Christians believe so easily in all these heresies that the agents of Hell teach these days? It's a choice they have made, as you have just learned by reading the verses cited above, and as the following passage also confirmed: "For the time will come when men will not put up with sound doctrine. Instead, to suit their own desires, they will gather around them a great number of teachers to say what their itching ears want to hear. They will turn their ears away from the truth and turn aside to myths." 2Timothy 4:3-4.

In fact, those who are of God, or if you like, those in whom the Spirit of God dwells, generally have no problem recognizing God. I will give you a few examples to edify you: The case of Abraham in Genesis 18, and the case of Lot in Genesis 19.

Genesis 18:1-5 "The Lord appeared to Abraham near the great trees of Mamre while he was sitting at the entrance to his tent in the heat of the day. 2Abraham looked up and saw three men standing nearby. When he saw them, he hurried from the entrance of his tent to meet them and bowed low to the ground. 3He said, if I have found favour in your eyes, my lord, do not pass your servant by. 4Let a little water be brought, and then you may all wash your feet and rest under this tree. 5Let me get you something to eat, so you can be refreshed and then go on your way - now that you have come to your servant. Very well, they answered, do as you say."

Genesis 19:1-3 "The two angels arrived at Sodom in the evening, and Lot was sitting in the gateway of the city. When he saw them, he got up to meet them and bowed down with his face to the ground. 2My lords, he said, please turn aside to your servant’s house. You can wash your feet and spend the night and then go on your way early in the morning. No, they answered, we will spend the night in the square. 3But he insisted so strongly that they did go with him and entered his house. He prepared a meal for them, baking bread without yeast, and they ate."

The questions I should ask you are as follow: How did Abraham recognize God so easily whereas God had no distinctive sign? How did Lot recognize God so easily whereas God was not on a great white horse with Angels all around Him?

The answer is simple. It is the Spirit of God in them that recognized God. The Spirit of God has no problem to recognize God. So you understand easily that all those who claim to belong to God without knowing Him, are not His; because those who truly have the Spirit of God recognize God. No true child of God can fail to recognize his Creator. This is not possible. The Holy Spirit in us always enables us to recognize and accept our Creator.

Finally, I would like to appeal to the common sense of all those who claim to be Christians, and who believe that Jesus is not God. Dear friends who are still in this kind of satanic reasoning, wake up quickly, and repent. Your reasoning is simply shameful. How can a Christian who believes that Jesus is the Saviour of mankind would at the same time believe that this same Jesus is not God? Can a mere man be the Saviour of mankind? How is that possible?

Philippians 2:10 says, "That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth." If Jesus Christ is not God, who is then this special man in whose name every knee must bow in heaven and on earth and under the earth? Can such a man exist?

John 5:21 says, "For just as the Father raises the dead and gives them life, even so the Son gives life to whom he is pleased to give it." If Jesus Christ is not God, it means that according to you He is just a man. But who then is this man who is Master of life and who gives life to whom he will? Has such a man ever existed?

The more we analyse this subject, the more it is obvious that all these so-called Christians, who believe that Jesus is the Saviour of mankind, and at the same time believe that this same Jesus is not God, display a certain degree of idiocy and lack of common sense, because it is simply impossible for a mere man to be the Saviour of mankind.

We Christians, we true Children of God, let us leave blasphemies, fruitless debates and vain discussions which are unique to people of corrupt minds, to those outside the Church. There are subjects which should not cause any doubt in the mind of someone who claims to be a Christian. Everything in the Bible convinces us of the divinity of our Master Jesus Christ. In addition to everything we have already cited, you have His Omnipresence, His Omniscience, and His Omnipotence.

5- Omnipresence of Jesus Christ

The omnipresence is a feature found only in God. We know that no creature of God has the ability to be continually present in all places. No Angel, nor demon, nor satan himself is endowed with this feature that can only indicate the supremacy of God, the Creator.

Matthew 28:20 "... And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age." Matthew 18:20 "For where two or three come together in my name, there am I with them." Colossians 3:11 "... Christ is all, and is in all." John 8:58 "I tell you the truth," Jesus answered, "before Abraham was born, I am!" Revelation 22:13 "I am the Alpha and the Omega, the First and the Last, the Beginning and the End."

6- Omniscience of Jesus Christ

Jesus knew all things and explained them with so much ease. He spoke of things to come as if they had already passed. Let's see an edifying example in Matthew 16:21 "From that time on Jesus began to explain to his disciples that he must go to Jerusalem and suffer many things at the hands of the elders, chief priests and teachers of the law, and that he must be killed and on the third day be raised to life."

7- Omnipotence of Jesus Christ

He is risen from the dead: Matthew 28, Mark 16, Luke 24 and John 20.

Matthew 28:5-6 "The angel said to the women: Do not be afraid, for I know that you are looking for Jesus, who was crucified. 6He is not here; he has risen, just as he said. Come and see the place where he lay."

Mark 16:4-6 "But when they looked up, they saw that the stone, which was very large, had been rolled away. 5As they entered the tomb, they saw a young man dressed in a white robe sitting on the right side, and they were alarmed. 6"Don't be alarmed," he said. "You are looking for Jesus the Nazarene, who was crucified. He has risen! He is not here. See the place where they laid him."

Luke 24:5-6 "In their fright the women bowed down with their faces to the ground, but the men said to them, "Why do you look for the living among the dead? 6He is not here; he has risen! Remember how he told you, while he was still with you in Galilee."

John 20:15-17 "Woman," he said, "why are you crying? Who is it you are looking for?" Thinking he was the gardener, she said, "Sir, if you have carried him away, tell me where you have put him, and I will get him." 16Jesus said to her, "Mary." She turned toward him and cried out in Aramaic, "Rabboni!" (which means Teacher). 17Jesus said, "Do not hold on to me, for I have not yet returned to the Father. Go instead to my brothers and tell them, 'I am returning to my Father and your Father, to my God and your God.'"

While satan and his agents are forced to install cameras, drones and other satellites and radars all over to try to get a global view of the world, Jesus Christ is everywhere at the same time; He sees everything; He knows everything, and He can do all things. Jesus does so many things that Only God can do. In view of the characteristics of Jesus, His divinity is therefore indisputable and undeniable.

8- Conclusion

In conclusion, beloved brethren in Christ, and dear friends, know that Jesus Christ is God. Moreover, He is the only God who saves. He is the only living God. He is the only God who reigns. He is the only God who sits on the throne. He is as the Bible says in 1John 5:20, the true God and eternal life. Jesus Christ is God, and this fact is established in the Bible. Do not imitate those who have voluntarily chosen Hell. If you value your salvation, flee from all these demons who defy God, and who dispute the divinity of Christ!

Grace to all who love our Lord Jesus Christ with an undying love!
