THE
FIRE OF GOD
(Updated on 01 01 2024)
It
is almost impossible to talk about
Spiritual Warfare, without mentioning the Fire of God. The Fire of God,
which
has become the favourite weapon of the true Soldiers of Christ, is also
a very
dreaded weapon of satan and his agents. This weapon is all the more
dreaded
that it is attacked by some zealous agents of satan, who use cunning to
bring the
Children of God to stop using it. As the arguments these sorcerers use
to lead
the Children of God astray are drawn from the Bible, it is important
that we do
not fold our arms and let these agents of Hell continue to confuse the
Soldiers
of Christ, and thus break the momentum of the Spiritual Warfare of the
servants
of Christ.
I
found it necessary to treat this
subject, on the one hand, to reassure these ignorant Children of God
who were
already falling into the trap of believing in the venom of the agents
of Hell
who, by their wiles, give the impression that we must take care not to
harm
demons and agents of satan, and that it would be a sin to strike demons
and
agents of satan with the fire of God. The fact that these sorcerers use
a
passage from the Bible to support their lies causes the ignorant
Christians to
succumb.
I have chosen to develop this
teaching on the Fire of God, on the other hand, to close, once and for
all, the
mouth to these agents of satan who make every effort to lead the
Children of
God astray from Spiritual Warfare, by trying to demonstrate that the
use of
God's Fire in Spiritual Warfare is not biblical. These snakes, in their
seduction,
tell you that Jesus did not ask to send the Fire of God on demons.
Since they
know very well how to twist some Bible verses to justify their
incantations,
they quote the passage of Luke 9:51-56.
2- What does Luke
9:51-56
say?
"51Now
it came to pass, when the time had come for Him to be received up, that
He
steadfastly set His face to go to Jerusalem, 52and
sent
messengers before His face. And as they went, they entered a village of
the
Samaritans, to prepare for Him. 53But
they did not receive Him, because His face was
set for the journey to Jerusalem. 54And
when
His disciples James and John saw this, they said, "Lord, do You want us
to
command fire to come down from Heaven and consume them, just as Elijah
did?" 55But
He turned and rebuked them, and said, "You do not know what manner of
spirit you are of. 56"For
the Son of Man did not come to destroy men's lives but to save them. …"
Let me begin this teaching by
giving you an element of discernment. Know that all those so-called
Christians
or pastors who try to turn you away from Spiritual Warfare by telling
you that
sending the Fire of God on demons is not biblical, are demons. They are
demons
who try to intimidate you, so that you give up the warfare. It is
actually to
protect themselves from the Fire of God that you send each time to
their camp
in the name of Jesus, that they intimidate you in this way. The fire
that you
send to their camp consumes them, and since they cannot tell you
openly, they
instead use cunning to discourage you.
Now
let me go back to the teaching
with you. Let us start with this passage of Luke 9:51-56 that sorcerers
like to
quote. When you take a few minutes to examine this passage, you realize
that it
is only the children of God who do not meditate well on their Bible who
get
distracted by these sorcerers. This passage is very clear, and presents
no
difficulty of understanding. I will explain to you how you must each
time
meditate on the word of God, to understand it well. You must know how
to
formulate essential questions, the answers of which will help you
understand
the subject you want to study.
To
give you an example, I will do this
exercise with you. We will begin by identifying the essential questions
that
will help us understand the topic at hand. These questions are as
follows:
1- Who did the disciples James and
John want to consume by the Fire of Heaven?
2-
What prompted the disciples to want
to command the Fire of Heaven to consume these Samaritans?
3-
Why did they think of invoking the
Fire of God against those they believed to be enemies of God?
4-
Why did Jesus, in this case, oppose
the use of this weapon by the disciples?
The
answers to these questions will
help us understand this teaching. Let us now answer these questions:
3.1-
Who did the disciples James and John want to consume
by the Fire of Heaven?
These people that the disciples
wanted to consume by the fire of Heaven were Samaritans, simple men who
did not
even know Jesus yet. The Lord told the disciples that He came, not to destroy men's lives but to save them. They were indeed men the Lord
intended to save. They were therefore not agents of satan or demons who
fight
us day and night, and who cannot be saved.
3.2-
Why did the disciples want to command the Fire of Heaven?
It
was this desire to wage spiritual warfare
that motivated the disciples to want to command the Fire of Heaven to
consume
these Samaritans. The disciples thought they were there, facing the
enemies of
God; and as such, they wanted to wage Spiritual Warfare. In their
ignorance,
they had not understood that these poor Samaritans were just pagans who
needed the
message of salvation, and not enemies.
3.3-
Why did they think of invoking the Fire of God?
The
disciples thought of invoking the
Fire of God against those they believed to be enemies because they knew
that
the Fire of God was part of the warfare weapons we have. Knowing that
in any
fight against the enemies of God we must use all our weapons, including
the
Fire of God, they were ready to use this dreadful weapon.
3.4-
Why did Jesus, in this case, oppose the use of this weapon
by the disciples?
In
this specific case, Jesus had
opposed the use of this weapon by the disciples because the target
against
which the disciples wanted to use this weapon was not the right target.
The
poor ignorant Samaritans against whom this weapon was to be used could
be
saved. They were not demons whose mission is to destroy us, and who
cannot be
saved.
Beloved,
it is therefore clear from
this study that the disciples of Jesus knew very well that the Fire of
God was
a weapon for Spiritual Warfare. It is also clear that Jesus had not
found it
awkward that the disciples had thought of the Fire of God as a warfare
instrument. Finally, it emerges that the reason Jesus rebuked the disciples was that the people whom
the disciples wanted to strike with the Fire of God were not
necessarily enemies
of God.
Sorcerers tell us that we must not
use Fire in Spiritual Warfare, as if we, Children of God, have invented
the use
of Fire. The Fire of God is indeed a weapon in the warfare, as I have
just
shown you through the passage of Luke that we have meditated. The
disciples
James and John knew this, and that is why they were ready to use it.
5- Has the Fire of
God been
used in the Bible?
The Lord used the Fire of God in
His fight against His enemies in Sodom and Gomorrah, as you can read in
Genesis
19:1-25.
Genesis 19:1-25 "1Now
the two angels came to Sodom in the evening, and Lot was sitting in the
gate of
Sodom. When Lot saw them, he rose to meet them, and he bowed himself
with his
face toward the ground. 2And he said, "Here now, my
lords, please turn in to your servant's house and spend the night, and
wash
your feet; then you may rise early and go on your way." And they said,
"No, but we will spend the night in the open square." 3But
he insisted strongly; so they turned in to him and entered his house.
Then he
made them a feast, and baked unleavened bread, and they ate. 4Now
before they lay down, the men of the city, the men of Sodom, both old
and
young, all the people from every quarter, surrounded the house.
5And
they called to Lot and said to him, "Where are the men who came to you
tonight? Bring them out to us that we may know them carnally." 6So
Lot went out to them through the doorway, shut the door behind him, 7and
said, "Please, my brethren, do not do so wickedly! 8"See
now, I have two daughters who have not known a man; please, let me
bring them
out to you, and you may do to them as you wish; only do nothing to
these men,
since this is the reason they have come under the shadow of my roof." 9And
they said, "Stand back!" Then they said, "This one came in to
stay here, and he keeps acting as a judge; now we will deal worse with
you than
with them." So they pressed hard against the man Lot, and came near to
break down the door. 10But the men reached out their hands
and pulled Lot into the house with them, and shut the door.
11And
they struck the men who were at the doorway of the house with
blindness, both
small and great, so that they became weary trying to find the door. 12Then
the men said to Lot, "Have you anyone else here? Son-in-law, your sons,
your daughters, and whomever you have in the city - take them out of
this
place! 13"For we will destroy this
place, because the outcry against them has grown great before the face
of the
Lord, and the Lord has sent us to destroy it." 14So
Lot went out and spoke to his sons-in-law, who had married his
daughters, and
said, "Get up, get out of this place; for the Lord will destroy this
city!" But to his sons-in-law he seemed to be joking. 15When
the morning dawned, the angels urged Lot to hurry, saying, "Arise, take
your wife and your two daughters who are here, lest you be consumed in
the
punishment of the city." 16And while he lingered, the men took
hold of his hand, his wife's hand, and the hands of his two daughters,
the Lord
being merciful to him, and they brought him out and set him outside the
city.
17So it came to pass, when they had brought them outside, that he said, "Escape for your life! Do not look behind you nor stay anywhere in the plain. Escape to the mountains, lest you be destroyed." 18Then Lot said to them, "Please, no, my lords! 19"Indeed now, your servant has found favour in your sight, and you have increased your mercy which you have shown me by saving my life; but I cannot escape to the mountains, lest some evil overtake me and I die. 20"See now, this city is near enough to flee to, and it is a little one; please let me escape there (is it not a little one?) and my soul shall live." 21And he said to him, "See, I have favoured you concerning this thing also, in that I will not overthrow this city for which you have spoken. 22"Hurry, escape there. For I cannot do anything until you arrive there." Therefore the name of the city was called Zoar. 23The sun had risen upon the earth when Lot entered Zoar. 24Then the Lord rained brimstone and Fire on Sodom and Gomorrah, from the Lord out of the heavens. 25So He overthrew those cities, all the plain, all the inhabitants of the cities, and what grew on the ground."
Elijah used the Fire of God in his
fight against the enemies of God, as you can read in 2Kings 1:1-15.
2Kings 1:1-15 "… And he said, "It is Elijah the Tishbite." 9Then the king sent to him a captain of fifty with his fifty men. So he went up to him; and there he was, sitting on the top of a hill. And he spoke to him: "Man of God, the king has said, 'Come down!'" 10So Elijah answered and said to the captain of fifty, "If I am a man of God, then let Fire come down from Heaven and consume you and your fifty men." And fire came down from Heaven and consumed him and his fifty. 11Then he sent to him another captain of fifty with his fifty men. And he answered and said to him: "Man of God, thus has the king said, 'Come down quickly!'" 12So Elijah answered and said to them, "If I am a man of God, let Fire come down from Heaven and consume you and your fifty men." And the Fire of God came down from Heaven and consumed him and his fifty.
13Again,
he sent a third captain of fifty with his fifty men. And the third
captain of
fifty went up, and came and fell on his knees before Elijah, and
pleaded with
him, and said to him: "Man of God, please let my life and the life of
these fifty servants of yours be precious in your sight. 14"Look,
Fire has come down from Heaven and burned up the first two captains of
fifties
with their fifties. But let my life now be precious in your sight." 15And
the angel of the Lord said to Elijah, "Go down with him; do not be
afraid
of him." So he arose and went down with him to the king."
Here is another passage that agents
of satan use to try to lead the Children of God astray from Spiritual
Warfare.
Ephesians 6:12 "For we do
not wrestle against flesh
and blood, but against
principalities, against powers,
against
the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of
wickedness
in the heavenly places."
The agents of Hell are forced to twist the word of God whenever they
want to
fight us. But the word of God always dumbfounds them, so that in order
to use
it, they are obliged to distort its meaning. Let us examine this
passage
together. The Lord tells us here that we do not wrestle against flesh
and
blood.
6.1-
What is "Flesh and Blood"?
"Flesh and blood"
represents normal people who have nothing to do with the world of
darkness,
like those Samaritans that the disciples wanted to consume by the Fire
of God.
"Flesh and blood" has nothing to do with the agents of satan whose
mission is to fight God, and fight us. "Flesh and blood" has nothing
to do with those demons who have sworn to destroy us.
6.2-
Who are the principalities and the rulers of this world of darkness
against whom we
must wrestle?
The rulers, the authorities, the
powers of this dark world and the spiritual forces of evil in the
heavenly
places against whom we must wrestle are all these demons, evil spirits
and
other agents of satan who fight us fiercely every day, and who have
sworn to
make us miss Heaven. Understand once more, beloved, that all those who
quote
all these verses to try to discourage you are demons. They know very
well the
effect that the Fire of God that you send, does on them and in their
camp. It
is in their despair that they try to twist the word of God, to stop the
fight
you are waging. Never fall into the trap of listening to them.
These sorcerers talk to you about
"Flesh and blood". Ask them these simple questions: On whom did the
Lord rain down the Fire of God in Sodom and Gomorrah? On whom did
Elijah pour
out the Fire of God in Samaria? Do not be surprised if they tell you
that these
cases were in the Old Testament. You already know that every time they
get
stuck, they try to make you believe that the Old Testament is no longer
part of
the Bible.
The people on whom the Lord had
poured the Fire of God in Sodom and Gomorrah, and those on whom Elijah
had
poured the Fire of God in Samaria, are what can be called out of
ignorance
"Flesh and blood". Know that it is not because some agents of satan
take
human forms to better fight God and destroy us, that you must confuse
them with
"Flesh and blood".
Children of God, I believe that
this teaching on the use of God's Fire in Spiritual Warfare is clear
enough for
each of you now, and that no agent of Hell will ever again be able to
destabilize you in your momentum for the warfare, with their
incantations, with
the lies they fabricate in their world to discourage you. I give thanks
to God!
7- Is the Fire of
God a
weapon for Warfare?
We have just demonstrated it. The
Fire of God is indeed a weapon for Spiritual Warfare. Remember once and
for
all, beloved Soldiers of Jesus Christ, that the Fire of God is a weapon
of
warfare for us, a very effective weapon that you must use regularly to
destroy
the camp of satan. Never again allow yourself to be intimidated by
these
demons, so-called Christians or pastors, who tell you that the warfare
you are
waging is not biblical. It is in order to make you stop the fight, that
they
tell you that. The Fire of God that you send on them and in their camp
consumes
them very well, and they suffer seriously from it, even if they often
pretend
not to feel it. They often hide to cry. The Fire of God often leaves
marks and
plaques on their bodies, and they try hard to conceal them. I therefore
encourage you to intensify the sending of the Fire of God on all agents
of
Hell, to consume them, and to destroy all their plans against us.
8- Did Jesus forbid
the use
of the Fire of God?
We have just studied it together.
Jesus never forbade the use of the Fire of God in Spiritual Warfare.
The reason
Jesus rebuked His disciples who wanted to use this weapon was that the
target
against which this weapon was to be used was not the right one. The
Fire of God
is a weapon that must be used against demons and agents of satan whose
mission
is to destroy us, and not against the poor pagans who need Jesus. Some
agents
of Hell will not hesitate to tell you that demons too can be saved. Let
this
not surprise you. Did not some of their brothers tell us that Judas
Iscariot
had repented?
Beloved and dear brethren in Christ, this subject on the Fire of God is more an element of discernment for us than a teaching. In reality, no true child of God can have a problem with the use of the Fire of God as a weapon of Spiritual Warfare.
You will never see a true child of
God love demons to the point of wanting to protect them from the Fire
of God.
You will never see a true child of God defend the cause of demons. You
will
never see a true child of God intercede with other children of God to
stop
sending the Fire of God into the camp of demons. You will never see a
true
child of God use cunning to prevent other children of God from striking
demons
with the fire of God. You will never see a true child of God intimidate
other
children of God through biblical verses whose meaning they distort, to
stop the
sending of the Fire of God into the camp of demons.
Remember very well that their
statement that Jesus did not ask us to strike demons and other wicked
spirits
with the Fire of God is pure intimidation. Every true child of God
knows that
his worst enemies are satan, his demons, and all his agents. Every true
child
of God knows very well what he suffers every day from satan and his
demons. For
this reason, no true
child of God can be indignant
at the sending of the Fire of God into satan's camp. You will never see a true child of
God defend demons and satan's agents.
In the same way that we, Children
of God, pray and intercede for our brothers and sisters in Christ, in
the same
way satan's agents intercede for demons and other agents of satan, who
are none
other than their brothers and their fellow servants. If you know at
least one
reason that may cause a true child of God to have mercy on demons and
to
protect demons and satan's servants, share this with us.
Finally, remember, beloved, that
the Fire of God is indeed part of our weapons in Spiritual Warfare.
Also
remember that all those who try to intimidate you so that you no longer
send
the Fire of God into the camp of satan, are demons. They are servants
of satan
who want to protect themselves, and protect their brothers and their
fellow
workers.
Grace
to all who love our Lord Jesus
Christ with an undying love!
Dear brothers and sisters,
If you have run away from fake churches and would like to know what to do, here are the two options available to you:
1- See if around you there are some other children of God who fear God and desire to live according to the Sound Doctrine. If you find any, feel free to join them.
2- If you do not find one and wish to join us, our doors are open to you. The only thing we will ask you to do is to first read all the Teachings that the Lord has given us, and which are on our website www.mcreveil.org, to reassure yourself that they are in conformity with the Bible. If you find them in accordance with the Bible, and are ready to submit to Jesus Christ, and live by the demands of His word, we will gladly welcome you.
The grace of the Lord Jesus be with you!
